Shikha graduated from the University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting and Economics.  She was admitted to the bar in July 2019.

Prior to joining Fee Langstone, Shikha worked at a large general insurance company, and more recently, spent three years at a rapidly growing underwriting agency, as a key member of their governance, risk and compliance team.

During her time there, she worked closely with the business and senior leaders on various risk and compliance matters including Fair Insurance Code compliance, privacy and confidentiality, risk, incident and complaints management, regulatory matters and compliance obligations, and acted as the business’s Deputy Privacy Officer. 

Shikha focuses on professional indemnity claims and regularly advises clients on regulatory compliance matters.  In 2024, Shikha completed the Australian Compliance Institute’s (ACI) Certificate IV in Compliance and Risk Management.
