Dianna has practiced as a solicitor in Auckland for 30 years in a number of roles.  She has worked as an in-house solicitor for a major insurer where she provided policy response and drafting advice, conducted subrogated recovery claims and defended insureds on liability claims.  She has worked for two specialist insurance law firms acting for insurers on general liability and professional indemnity disputes.  Dianna also provided advice on policy response and policy drafting.

Dianna also has experience in the medico-legal field, having acted as counsel for the Accident Compensation Corporation on numerous District and High Court appeals.  More recently, Dianna has spent 17 years at a boutique practice specializing in providing advice to and conducting litigation for Bodies Corporate.  While there, Dianna gained extensive experience conducting complex multi-party building defect claims on behalf of owners of commercial and residential complexes.  Dianna also enjoyed the opportunity to represent individual and corporate clients on a range of disputes. 

One of Dianna’s strengths is being able to communicate well with her clients and provide practical and commercial advice, particularly in stressful situations, and having the skills and experience to handle a dispute from start to finish.
