Ali is a Senior Associate specialising in insurance litigation and dispute resolution. Since joining Fee Langstone in 2017, she has developed broad experience advising insurers, insureds, and professionals on a wide range of complex disputes.

Ali acts on first-party property insurance claims, construction and contractual disputes and professional indemnity matters. She also advises clients on policy coverage issues, manages litigation through all stages of the dispute resolution process, and regularly represents clients in mediations and Judicial Settlement Conferences. Ali has appeared as counsel in the High Court, the Court of Appeal, and the Canterbury Earthquakes Insurance Tribunal. Earlier in her career, she gained extensive experience acting in claims arising from the Canterbury earthquake events.

Ali graduated from the University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Film, Television and Media Studies, and was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in February 2017.
