Andrew has been working at Fee Langstone (and Jones Fee prior to that) since April 2011.

Andrew’s areas of practice include:

• Food and milk powder contamination claims

• Fidelity insurance claims

Andrew graduated from the University of Auckland in 2011 with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in finance. Andrew won the commercial law prize and a senior prize in law.

Work highlights

• Acting for a professional entity in a litigated dispute concerning out of specification milk powder.

• Defending contractors, suppliers and manufacturers in disputes concerning allegedly defective workmanship and products.

• Acting for an insurer in a High Court proceeding concerning a defective workmanship exclusion in a contract works policy.

• Assisting major insurers to resolve difficult insurance claims which arose out of the Canterbury earthquakes, including litigated claims.

• Successfully defending an insurer in a litigated dispute about whether an insurance policy had been cancelled.
